We have established these guidelines to assist our contributors in producing worthwhile and interesting articles for our readers while maintaining quality, consistency, and relevance. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with these guidelines before submitting your content.

    Quality Standards

    We are dedicated to providing our audience with high-quality content. To ensure this, we expect all contributions to meet the following standards:

    • Accuracy: Ensure all information presented is accurate, up-to-date, and well-researched. Cite credible sources when necessary.
    • Clarity: Write clearly and concisely, using plain language to make complex topics understandable to a broad audience.
    • Relevance: Content should be directly related to the tech industry and provide value to our readers. Avoid off-topic or promotional content.
    • Originality: Plagiarism is strictly prohibited. All content must be original, non-AI, and not published elsewhere, including on your blog.
    • Engagement: Create content that engages and captivates readers. Use copyright-free images (fully optimized), diagrams, and multimedia when appropriate to enhance the reader’s experience.
    • Copyright: Ensure that copyright violations are avoided and give credit when needed. 

    Writing Style

    Consistency in writing style is essential for a cohesive reading experience. Please follow these guidelines:

    • Title: Ensure an SEO-based title that grabs the audience. (Less than 60 Characters)
    • Feature Image: Provide a unique, copywrite-free, HD-quality feature image. (Resolution: 1200 x 675px)
    • Formatting: Use H1, H2, and H3 subheadings, bullet points, and numbered lists to improve readability. Ensure proper grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
    • Length: Articles should generally be between 1,000 and 1,500 words in length.  Longer pieces are accepted for in-depth topics, but ensure the content remains engaging.
    • Tone: Maintain a professional and informative tone. Avoid overly technical jargon unless the topic requires it, and always explain complex terms when they are used.
    • Links Limit: A maximum of 1 x D-F link is allowed.

    Editorial Process

    All submissions go through an editorial review process to maintain content quality. Here’s what to expect:

    • Submission: Send your article to info@techwritter.com in text format (Google Docs). Give your contact details and a brief bio of the author.
    • Review: Our editorial team will review your submission for adherence to our guidelines, clarity, and overall quality.
    • Feedback: You may receive feedback and revision requests to ensure your content meets our standards.
    • Publication: Once approved, your article will be scheduled for publication. Please note that publication times may vary depending on our editorial calendar.

    Promotion and Distribution

    We encourage you to share your published content on your social media platforms and personal websites, but please avoid excessive self-promotion within the article.

    Copyright and Ownership

    Submitting your content to TechWritter grants us the non-exclusive right to publish, edit, and promote your work. TechWritter reserves the right to remove or decline any content that violates these guidelines, is deemed offensive, or does not align with our values and mission. You retain ownership of your content; we will always credit you as the contributor.
